Planning your wedding may seem daunting at first, but our experienced Events Team and flexible approach means that we can cater to your needs and advise you in the finer details that will make the big day perfect. We are happy to help you design your individual wedding package.

Food and Drink

We are no longer bound to one Caterer, so we can advice on good local caterers and arrange pre wedding meetings for you. We are a unique venue and we also allow wedding parties to cater for their own special day if you choose to.

Saint Nicolas Place does not have an alcohol licence, freeing you to select your own choice of alcoholic drinks without paying premium rates added by other venues. Of course, we are delighted to serve your beverages and we provide bar staff for evening functions and receptions.

Classic crockery, cutlery, glasses and white linen is provided within our packages, although you may have a specific colour scheme of your own you wish to use. We can arrange that to. If you want to add that additional special touch we can arrange round tables and exquisite chairs that make your day even that pit more special.

Flowers

Floral arrangements add the finishing touch to any civil ceremony or wedding reception. We would be delighted arrange local florists experienced in providing beautiful and tasteful splashes of colour to your proceedings.

Cake

Your wedding cake can provide a beautiful focus to a room. We have some lovely local contacts we trust with this most important of touches.

Photographs

There are several beautiful backdrops around Saint Nicolas Place for your wedding photographs. Allow us to share them with you and we can recommend and arrange excellent local photographers

Music

Whether it’s jazz, classical, disco or even a Tudor with a hurdy-gurdy you want, we can help put you in touch with reliable musicians and entertainers and again you can trust us to “let us entertain you!” by arranging this for you.

Car Hire

You’ll want to arrive in style, and we know just the people to help you! Whether it’s a classic Rolls Royce, vintage car or horse-drawn-carriage, allow us to assist in choosing what will work best for your day.

For the Little People.

If all of the excitement is too much for the little ones, we would be happy to provide a quiet space for them to wind down. We can also provide a TV/DVD player and can recommend local children’s entertainers according to your wishes.

Hair and Beauty

We can recommend bridal hair and beauty experts, to ensure your days goes without a hitch.

The Final Touches

We have come to learn that every wedding is unique, so there is nothing we won’t try our utmost to provide when helping to plan your big day. We can recommend local craft producers who can create you that individual favour. Or you may want that additional room dressing for example beautiful voile draped across the beams or wrapped around the stairs with lovely bows. Or for that touch of class why not have a toastmaster from the English toast masters association. Or why not have those winter wonderland feeling with sparkly fairy lights.

Or why not have exclusive use of Saint Nicolas place from 3.30pm until midnight as an additional optional extra to your package at an extremely small fee.

Rest assured that our staff will be close by on the day itself should you require assistance and help arrange all those optional extras at a small cost.
